A refrigerator comprises: a cabinet which is provided with a storeroom therein; a pair of guide members which are mounted on both sides of the storeroom and include a guide hole longitudinally penetrated in a side wall in a vertical direction and a guide groove formed in an inner face in a vertical direction; a shelf which is mounted on the pair of guide members to be movable; a pair of switch members which are mounted on both sides of the shelf to be movable in a front and rear direction and include a protrusion portion protruding from an outer face of a body portion and guided along the guide groove; a rotation shaft which is mounted under the shelf to be rotated and is guided along the guide hole; pinions which are provided at both ends of the rotation shaft and rotate with the rotation shaft; racks which are mounted on outer faces of the pair of guide members in a vertical direction and are gear-coupled to the pinions; and a connection device which transfers force of lifting a front half portion of the shelf to a rear half portion of the shelf to lift the shelf while keeping a horizontal state. |
