The present invention provides a display device which prevents damage to a pixel circuit due to a process related to a sealing layer, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention relates to the display device where the pixel circuit and the sealing layer of multilayer structure are successively formed on a substrate. The sealing layer includes a first layer. The first layer touches the pixel circuit and is made of a silicon-containing inorganic material. The first layer is a mixed layer. At least some components of the mixed layer are continuously changed in a lamination direction. |
