INDEX TABLE DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING A MAIN BORE OF CALIPER HOUSING

The present invention relates to an index device for processing a main bore of a caliper housing, having a new structure with a minimized size that is suitable for small quantity batch production in spite of having the capability to perform a common process regardless of the number of main bores of the caliper housing. The index device comprises: a main bed; an index table; a facing device; a composite processor; and a horizontal movement part. The main bed forms a body, has an upper surface having a rectangular structure with a long shape formed in both side directions and provides a work space. The index table is rotationally installed on the center of the upper surface of the main bed and includes a plurality of jigs positioned along the peripheral side of the upper surface to grasp the caliper housing. The facing device is positioned on one side of the upper surface of the main bed, is loaded on the index table, and performs a recess-process of forming a seal groove and a dust booth on the inner circumferential surface of the main bore of the caliper housing. The composite processor is positioned on the upper surface of the main bed opposite to the position of the facing device and sequentially performs each of the processes to the internal diameter and bottom surface of the main bore of the caliper housing completely undergone the process of forming the seal groove and the dust booth and a process to each portion between fingers of the caliper housing. The horizontal movement part horizontally moves the facing device and the composite processor from the upper surface of the main bed.
