The present invention relates to a method for surface-treating a tire mold which comprises the following steps: pre-washing a surface of the tire mold; masking, by a thin foil, a portion excluding a surface-treatment target area; surface-treating a portion excluding the masked portion with a compound; polishing the surface-treated portion; and post-washing and drying the mold. According to the present invention, the method for surface-treating tire mold can ensure production of semi-permanent tire via surface-treatment of the mold, a brand image increases by improving quality of an exterior of the tire. In addition, the surface-treatment of a groove can bring improvement on the wet performance, resulting in creation of more upgraded design with regard to the depth of the groove and a shape of patterns. |
