The present invention relates to a flat burner having a flame hole unit which is thin and long in an upper end portion thereof, which comprises: a mixing tube unit (65) having an inlet (65a) and a throat portion (65b) adjacent to the rear of the inlet; and a distribution room unit (66) guiding mixing gas of fuel gas injected from a gas nozzle (71) heading for the inlet and first air flowing from the inlet from a mixing tube unit to the flame hole unit. Therefore, even if a length of the mixing tube unit is short, mixing of the fuel gas and the first air can be accelerated. To achieve this, according to the present invention, in the throat portion (65b), a cross section center (02) is formed to exist in a position wherein the cross section center is offset in one vertical direction with respect to a cross section center (01) of the inlet (65a). Moreover, in the gas nozzle (71), a hole axis of a nozzle hole (71a) is arranged to pass through a vertical direction position left from the cross section center (02) of the throat portion (65b) to the cross section center (01) of the inlet (65a). |
