The present invention relates to a system and a method for managing a bandwidth to increase the bandwidth utilization efficiency. To manage a bandwidth, the system for managing a bandwidth confirms control conditions based on signals transmitted from a plurality of terminals, to determine whether the transmission speed of a frame to be managed to transmit to the terminals needs to be changed, based on the control conditions; determines whether a connection acceptance range for a new terminal requesting service needs to be changed when the transmission speed is determined to be changed, and transmits the frame to be managed to the terminals at a changed transmission speed when the connection acceptance range is determined to be changed. |
