The invention relates to a resistance welding system applicable to continuous movement machines, comprising at least one welding device (1) connected to a power welding appliance (1) by means of power supply cables (21, 22), each welding device (1) comprising: a main group (4) suitable for installing in a mobile part (31) of a machine (3) and comprising a first electrode (41) and a lever device (42) connected to the first electrode (41) and to a shaft (43) aligned with a pneumatic piston (6) for actuating said first electrode (41) into an operating position and providing welding current to the first electrode (41); and a secondary group (5) suitable for installing in the part (32) opposite the mobile part of the machine (3) and comprising a second welding electrode (51) aligned with the first electrode (41).
