PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift operation device which enables increase of a contact surface between a cam surface and a pin part in a riding-on cam mechanism to improve the durability of the riding-on cam mechanism.SOLUTION: A shift operation device includes: a first operation body 2 which rotates around an axis X; a second operation body 4 which translationally moves in a radial direction of the axis; and a riding-on cam mechanism 3 which performs displacement conversion between rotational displacement of the first operation body 2 and translation displacement of the second operation body 4. The riding-on cam 3 includes: a cam surface 31 which has a cam surface width in a radial direction of the axis and forms an axial cam depth according to a circumferential angle made around the axis; and a pin part 21 which extends in the radial direction of the axis and contacts with the cam surface. The cam surface 31 is formed to make line contact with the pin part 21 over the cam surface width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
