The purpose of the present invention is to appropriately recommend, to a user, products or services for the user to give to another person on occasions such as anniversaries. A display control unit 53 associates and displays, on a display unit 17, a schedule screen showing a schedule of the user and an electronic commerce (EC) screen enabling the user to execute electronic transactions. A feature recognition unit 55 recognizes a feature of a specific date registered in the schedule. On the basis of the recognized feature, a recommendation unit 57 determines a recommended type of electronic transaction that can be executed via the EC screen.
