PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a colored particle dispersion to be suitably used for an aqueous ink for inkjet recording, by which a colored particle dispersion can be obtained by an emulsification polymerization process even when a pigment having a quinacridone skeleton is used, and the obtained colored particle dispersion has excellent storage stability and gives a printed matter excellent in rubbing resistance when printed on a recording medium, and to provide a colored particle dispersion produced by the above method, and a production method of an aqueous ink for inkjet recording containing the colored particle dispersion.SOLUTION: [1] The production method of a colored particle dispersion comprises emulsion polymerization of a dispersion comprising a pigment, a polymerizable monomer, a surfactant, a polymerization initiator, and water. The pigment is a pigment having a quinacridone skeleton; the surfactant is an anionic or nonionic surfactant; and the polymerization initiator is an anionic or nonionic azo compound. [2] The colored particle dispersion contains colored particles having an average particle diameter of 10 nm or more and 300 nm or less. [3] The production method of an aqueous ink for inkjet recording includes a step of mixing the obtained colored particle dispersion with an organic solvent B.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
