PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an interest of a game.SOLUTION: When a start condition is established, a variable display game in which plural pieces of identification information are variably displayed is executed on a display device, and when an execution result is a predetermined special stop mode, a special game state being advantageous to a player can be generated, by control means of a game machine. The game machine further comprises: display means capable of displaying a character for performing the variable display game on the display device; and specific area display means capable of displaying a specific area different from an area where the plural pieces of identification information are variably displayed, on the display device.
