PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting module which prevents a periphery of a light emission surface from being darkened as trimmed.SOLUTION: A lighting module 1 includes: a light guide plate 20 having an end surface 21 and a first major surface 23; LED light sources 30 which cause light to enter from the end surface 21; and a diffusion plate 50 including a light incident surface 55 disposed at the first major surface 23 side of the light guide plate 20 and into which the light emitted from the first major surface 23 enters and a light emission surface 56 from which the light entering from the light incident surface 55 is emitted. The diffusion plate 50 includes protruding parts 51 provided at positions facing a periphery part 26 of the first major surface 23 of the light guide plate 20, which is located at the end surface 21 side on which the LED light sources 30 are arranged, the protruding parts 51 having a light incident surface 52 into which the light emitted from the periphery part 26 enters. The light guide plate 20 includes a light diffusion surface at a region facing the light incident surface 52 of the protruding part 51. The light diffusion surface is disposed between the adjacent light sources of the light sources.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
