PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular contact ball bearing capable of realizing both an increase in a load capacity in an axial direction and high rigidity within a limited space.SOLUTION: A pair of click portions 36 is formed on circumferentially both sides of a tip end of a pillar portion 32 by providing a notch 34 in a circumferentially intermediate portion. A relation between a length L between adjacent balls 3 and a ball pitch circumferential length &pgr;dm obtained by multiplying a ball pitch circle diameter dm by a circumferential rate &pgr; satisfies 2.5×10≤L/&pgr;dm≤13×10. A relation among a circumferential smallest thickness M of the pillar portion 32, a circumferential width N of each click portion 36, and the ball pitch circumferential length &pgr;dm satisfies -3.5×10≤(M-2 N)/&pgr;dm<0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
