1. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising:
a battery element formed by laminating and winding a positive electrode and a negative electrode with a separator interposed therebetween, wherein the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on both surfaces of the positive electrode current collector, and the negative electrode includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material layer having a lower resistance value than that of the positive electrode active material layer and formed on both surfaces of the negative electrode current collector; and a battery can housing the battery element, wherein the positive electrode includes a positive electrode current-collector-exposed portion, in which the positive electrode current collector is exposed over a length dimension of not less than one turn of the winding of the battery element, in an intermediate layer portion of the winding, and the negative electrode in a part facing the positive electrode current collector exposed in the intermediate layer portion includes the negative electrode active material layer laminated on the negative electrode current collector. |
