HEADPHONE WITH A CONNECTOR FOR DETACHING A HEADBAND FROM A TRANSDUCER

A headphone comprising user-interchangeable components, which allows a user to configure the headphone according to the user's preference and/or chosen application. The headphone comprises a headband, a connector, and transducer modules. The connector has a mechanical coupler as well as an electrical coupler. The electrical coupler couples a signal between various separable components of the headphone (e.g., between the headband and the transducer modules). The combination of the mechanical coupler and the electrical coupler the connector provides the headphone the ability to be flexibly configured and re-configured to suit a user's needs.
