PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed changer capable of executing fail safe operation, which avoids an idle running state when abnormality occurs, according to the location where the abnormality occurs and the content of the abnormality.SOLUTION: A speed changer 7 includes: a first abnormality detection device 91 which detects abnormality of a first actuator 77 or a first clutch 74 etc.; a second abnormality detection device 92 which detects abnormality of a second actuator 78 or a second clutch 75 etc.; and a fail safe device 93. The fail safe device 93 controls the second actuator 78 and a third actuator 79 so that torque is transmitted to a drive shaft 73 through the second clutch 75 when the first abnormality detection device 91 detects the abnormality. Further, the fail safe device 93 controls the first actuator 77 and the third actuator 79 so that torque is transmitted to the drive shaft 73 through the first clutch 74 when the second abnormality detection device 92 detects the abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22 |
