摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that a state change of a weld resulting from fluctuating and unstable arc discharge within a range that does not exceed a set threshold is overlooked only by monitoring a weld voltage or weld current.SOLUTION: An arc welding monitoring system includes a derivation unit deriving a frequency characteristic per unit time of at least one measurement value out of a weld current, a weld voltage, and a wire feed speed, and may also include a determination unit determining a state of a formed weld bead on the basis of the frequency characteristic obtained by the derivation unit. The determination unit determines that the formed weld bead is in a state specified to correspond to a predetermined power spectrum range if the obtained frequency characteristic falls in the predetermined power spectrum range. Since the frequency characteristic is used for monitoring the arc welding, it is possible to detect even a weld state change or a weld abnormality that may possibly be overlooked only by monitoring the weld voltage or the weld current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
