PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium metal complex oxide having a layer structure especially excellent as a cathode active material of a battery loaded especially on an electric automobile or a hybrid automobile.SOLUTION: In a method, a raw material containing a lithium salt compound, a manganese salt compound, a nickel salt compound and a cobalt salt compound is mixed, pulverized, and then fired and cracked, and thereby a lithium metal complex oxide having a layer structure is produced. In the production method of the lithium metal complex oxide having the layer structure, after firing, cracking is performed with a high-speed rotary crusher having a rotational frequency of 4,000 rpm or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
