In order to allow for easy positioning of a deflector with respect to a nut and inhibition of disengagement of the deflector radially outward from the nut in a ball screw, the ball screw (1) is provided with a screw shaft (3), a nut (7), a deflector (13) inserted in an accommodation cavity (14) of the nut (7), and a plurality of balls (8), wherein the nut (7) is provided with at least one guide section (42) which cooperates with a corresponding guide section (41) provided on the deflector (13) to guide the insertion of the deflector (13) into the accommodation cavity (14) in an insertion direction intersecting the radial direction of the nut (7). |
