The present invention relates to a retractable awning comprising at least one blind intended to be rolled up around a central tube or cylinder and subsequently unrolled, the blind being coupled with said tube. The awning also comprises a support for support of said at least one blind, said support comprising at least three support columns. The awning also comprises a mechanism for rolling up and unrolling the blind so as to move the blind from a closed position in which the blind is rolled up to an open position in which the blind is deployed or unrolled. The support and the mechanism are linked together in such a way that a first support column comprises at least one counterweight coupled with said at least one blind in order to unroll or roll up the blind. The counterweight is disposed inside said first column. The support optionally comprises a second support column, opposite the first support column, and comprising at least one counterweight coupled to said at least one blind in order to unroll or roll up the blind, said at least one counterweight being disposed inside said second column. The support further comprises a third support column having an activation means coupled to said blind and allowing actuation of the rolling up or unrolling of said blind, said activation means being disposed inside said third column. |
