The present invention suggests a method of transmitting a broadcast signal. The method of transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention may include the steps of: creating a plurality of input packets that include broadcast data; creating at least one link layer packet by using the plurality of input packets wherein the header of the link layer packet includes packet type information and first length information, the packet type information indicates the type of an input packet in the payload of the link layer packet, and the first length information indicates the length of the payload; creating a broadcast signal by using the link layer packet; and transmitting the broadcast signal.
