摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery stack for which the long-size design of the fuel battery stack caused by a load applying mechanism can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A load applying mechanism for applying a load along a lamination direction of a fuel battery stack comprises: a fastening band; a first holding portion for holding one end of the fastening band with respect to a first end plate at an inner surface side of the first end plate outward of a first side surface portion along the lamination direction of a laminate; and a second holding portion for holding the other end of the fastening band with respect to the first end plate at the inner surface side of the first end plate outward of a second side surface portion at the opposite side to the first side surface portion. The fastening band extends from the first holding portion in the lamination direction along the first side surface portion, goes around the outer surface of the second end plate and then extends in the lamination direction along the second side surface portion to the second holding portion. The second holding portion has an adjusting unit for adjusting the other end holding position which can adjust the holding position of the other end of the fastening band in the lamination direction along the second side surface portion, and holds the other end of the fastening band through the adjusting unit for adjusting the other end holding position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
