PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method and a regeneration apparatus capable of properly decoding encoded data.SOLUTION: The regeneration method includes: a receiving step of receiving encoded streams, packet-by-packet, which are plural encoded streams included in encoded data transmitted by using plural transmission channels; a storing step of storing plural packets in the received plural encoded streams in a first buffer; a rearranging step of rearranging the plural packets stored in the first buffer in a decoded order; and a decoding step of decoding the plural packets rearranged in the decoded order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
