PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector system adaptable to high data speed on a connector having terminals of 0.5 mm pitch.SOLUTION: A plug connector 150 may contain a termination module having a paddle card and a plug module containing a terminal array. The termination module and the plug module may be aligned through the array of terminals and pads on the paddle card. A receptacle connector 100 contains two arrays of terminals provided at the opposite side to a tongue. The tongue contains an impedance notch aligned with terminals disposed as a differential pair. A ground terminal extends over the differential pair along the impedance notch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
