The present invention relates to a composition for preserving cells and a cell preservation method. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for preserving cells, which comprises plant-derived recombinant human serum albumin and plant peptides as active ingredients, and to a cell preservation method using the same. In the present invention, the composition for preserving cells maintains animal-free and xeno-free conditions with a high cell survival rate while preserving cells such as stem cells or primarily cultured cells for a short period, and is stable without causing changes in cellular morphology or surface expression factors. |
