The present invention relates to a method for performing a Bunsen reaction effectively by using a tubular reactor, more specifically to a method for performing the Bunsen reaction, comprising the steps of: supplying a mixed iodine solution including hydrogen iodide (HI), iodine (I2), and water (H2O), and sulfur dioxide (SO2); and converting iodine and water in the mixed iodine solution and sulfur dioxide, supplied to the reactor, into sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and hydrogen iodide (HI) by performing the Bunsen reaction. Provided is the method for performing the Bunsen reaction in which temperature in the tubular reactor is maintained between 60 and 80°C while the Bunsen reaction is being performed. The present invention allows the Bunsen reaction to be performed with high efficiency by increasing reactivity between the mixed iodine solution including hydrogen iodide (HI), iodine (I2), and water (H2O), and sulfur dioxide (SO2) remarkably, thereby enabling the production of a large amount of hydrogen and thus contributing to disseminate fuel cell vehicles and secure a hydrogen reduction steelmaking technology. |
