The invention relates to a lining retaining spring (3) for a brake lining (2) on a disc brake comprising a spring section (31) which can be mounted captively and so that it can be radially deflected at an edge (25) of the lining carrier plate (21), wherein the lining retaining spring (3) comprises a part section (32) designed as a clamping section which extends at an angle from one end of the spring section (31) of the liner retaining spring (3). A brake lining retainer for a disc brake on a motor vehicle is also described. |
