PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having stable electric characteristics.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device has an oxide semiconductor film, a gate electrode, a first conductive film, a second conductive film and a third conductive film. The gate electrode and the third conductive film are electrically connected. The first and second conductive films function as a source electrode or a drain electrode. The oxide semiconductor film has a first region which overlaps the first conductive film, a second region which overlaps the second conductive film and a third region which overlaps the gate electrode and the third conductive film. The first region has a first edge which faces the second region and the second region has a second edge which faces the first region. A length of the first edge is shorter than a length of the second edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
