摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of determining a surface source strength per predetermined area with sufficiently high accuracy in a flat district in which contamination of radioactive substances can be considered to be uniform and, therefore, capable of determining an environmental radiation map on the basis of the surface source strength, while the method is considerably simple as compared with conventional methods.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: assuming an assumed surface source strength Sper predetermined area; approximating a correlation between a distance and a dose to an exponential function, calculating a total radiation dose applied to a specific evaluation point from a plurality of predetermined area regions into which a district is separated on the basis of the assumed surface source strength S, and determining an assumed environmental radiation dose Iat the specific evaluation point; measuring an actual environmental radiation dose I at the specific evaluation point; determining a conversion factor α from the assumed environmental radiation dose Iand the assumed surface source strength S; and calculating a surface source strength S per unit area from the actual environmental radiation dose I and the conversion factor α.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
