PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure that is capable of load measurement with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A rotation shaft 2 is caused to function as a magnetostrictive effect part whose magnetic permeability varies with the torque applied. A detecting part (magnetism detecting element 14) of a sensor 4 supported by a sensor support member 3 fitted to one end part of an outer ring 5 in its axial direction is arranged opposing the outer peripheral surface of the rotation shaft 2. Further, this rotation shaft 2 is formed of magnetic steel; and on the surface of this rotation shaft 2, the area ratio of carbide is kept to be not more than 20% and the area ratio of nitride is kept to be not more than 3.0%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
