1. A method comprising:
obtaining, by a base station in a wireless communication network, physical channel information of a transmission signaled in a first frequency band between the base station and at least one user equipment (UE) associated with the base station, the transmission corresponding to at least one of an uplink communication or a downlink communication; comparing, by an interference mitigation controller, the obtained physical channel information to a predetermined interference condition, to identify a presence of interference in the transmission; selecting, by the interference mitigation controller, a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, responsive to the identified presence of interference, at least one of the first frequency band and the second frequency band including a Long Term Evolution (LTE) band; and sending, by the base station, an instruction to the at least one UE associated with the base station to signal using the selected second frequency band. |
