PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device that can enhance the output precision of a variable resistor operated through an interlocking member even when a push switch is driven by turning the interlocking member which interlocks with an operating member.SOLUTION: In a multidirectional input device in which a first interlocking member holds an operating member so that the operating member is turnable, one end portion is fitted to a first rotation type variable resistor 6 and the other end portion confronts a push switch to be capable of driving the push switch, the first rotation type variable resistor 6 has a wiper receiver 62 having a hole portion 624 to which the one end portion of the first interlocking member is fitted, a wiper provided to the wiper receiver 62, and an insulation board 63 provided with a resistor pattern with which the wiper is brought into sliding contact. An elastic piece is provided in a hole portion 624 of the wiper receiver 62. The elastic piece enables the wiper receiver 62 to be elastically held at the one end portion of the first interlocking member while the first interlocking member is allowed to move in the axial line direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
