PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor and a temperature sensor manufacturing method capable of suppressing transfer of vibration to a connector member and improving productivity.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 comprises: a temperature detection unit 5; a housing 2; a connector member 3; and a buffer member 4. The temperature detection unit 5 includes a temperature sensitive element 51 detecting a temperature. The connector member 3 includes a connector facing surface 301 provided near the housing 2 in an axial direction X of the housing 2, and the housing 2 includes a housing facing surface 201 facing the connector facing surface 301. The connector facing surface 301 and the housing facing surface 201 are disposed to be apart from each other, a cavity 71 is formed between the connector facing surface 301 and the housing facing surface 201, and the buffer member 4 is disposed in the cavity 71. The temperature sensor 1 is configured so that the connector member 3 and the housing 2 are movable relatively to each other in the axial direction X by the elastic deformation of the buffer member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
