PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide membranes made of block copolymers capable of self-assembling into nanostructures and a method for producing nanoporous membranes, which do not require a removal of one of the blocks after a nanostructure is formed.SOLUTION: A method involves spray-coating a polymer solution containing a diblock copolymer represented by the formula (I) to obtain a thin film, and then annealing the thin film in a solvent vapor and/or soaking it in a solvent or mixture of solvents to form a nanoporous membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: None
