In order to provide a home appliance management system which can improve user convenience, this home appliance management system (100) comprises a management server (20) which is provided with a control instruction unit (21b) which transmits a control signal for limiting the operations of a home appliance (10) if it is determined, on the basis of determination-relevant information received over a communication network (60), that operations of the home appliance (10) need to be limited. The home appliance (10) is provided with a control unit (11) which limits operations of said home appliance (10) when the control signal is received.
