A light-emitting charging cable for an electric vehicle. The light-emitting charging cable comprises a current conducting wire (11) and several strands of light-emitting wires (20), wherein an insulation layer (14) is cladded on the outside of the current conducting wire (11), and the current conducting wire (11) and the light-emitting wires (20) are cladded by a transparent outer sheath layer (16). The light-emitting charging cable also comprises a light-emitting drive circuit. The light-emitting drive circuit comprises a current transformer and a control circuit, wherein the current transformer is electrically connected to the current conducting wire (11) and the control circuit, and the control circuit is electrically connected to the light-emitting wires (20); and the current transformer collects a current magnitude signal of the current conducting wire (11) and transmits same to the control circuit, and the control circuit adjusts an output signal frequency according to the current magnitude signal and transmits an output frequency signal to the light-emitting wires (20), thereby controlling the light-emitting wires (20) to change to emit light according to the change in the output signal frequency. The light-emitting wires can flash at different speeds according to different charging current magnitude. In this way, a user can directly observe a charging state through a light-emitting state of the cable, which is extremely convenient to use. |
