Heat exchanger Abstract A heat exchanger (10) for a liquid bath comprising a heat exchanger housing (15), a liquid inlet manifold (20), and a plurality of liquid flow lines (30) in fluid communication with the liquid inlet manifold (20). Each liquid flow line (30) extending through the heat exchanger housing (15) and having a liquid outlet (40) in fluid communication with a body of liquid within the receptacle (18). A liquid outlet manifold (90) is in fluid communication with the body of liquid within the receptacle (18). A gas delivery system (60) is adapted to deliver gas within the heat exchanger housing (15) to external surfaces of the liquid flow lines (30). A liquid pumped through the liquid flow lines (30) is heated or cooled by the gas and the heat exchanger housing (15) is located within the liquid receptacle (18) such that an upper portion of the heat exchanger (10) is located beneath an upper liquid surface in the receptacle (18).
