1. A process for the preparation of gadolinium oxysulfide (GOS) scintillation ceramics, comprising:
adding to GOS scintillation ceramic powders a sintering-aid agent, and mixing them to be homogeneous; charging the homogenous mixture of the GOS scintillation ceramic powders with the sintering-aid agent into a sintering mould, and subjecting it to spark plasma primary sintering, thereby obtaining a GOS primary sintered body; annealing the GOS primary sintered body; subjecting the annealed GOS primary sintered body to secondary sintering using hot isostatic pressing, thereby obtaining a GOS secondary sintered body; subjecting the GOS secondary sintered body to secondary annealing, to obtain GOS scintillation ceramics. |
