Disclosed in the present invention is a smart prompt method and device, and a rich text input method and device. The smart prompt method comprises: providing a special character; once a user inputs said special character in a rich text box, obtaining a character unit currently inputted by the user behind the position of the special character, searching for content related to said character unit, and displaying a search result to the user; the character unit comprises a single character or a string of characters. The method solves the problem in the prior art of the inability to implement in a rich text widget a helpful smart prompt. |
