The present invention relates to a customized gift shipping system and a method thereof. The system provides a reservation function for shipping a gift and a gift recommendation function by using a social network service (SNS) in order to enable a user to comfortably and accurately give gifts. The method includes the steps of: generating and storing social network information based on the contact information and SNS friend list information stored in a user terminal having an SNS application installed therein; requesting a gift reservation through a gift application, guiding available gift receivers based on the social network information, and executing a gift and message content recommending operation when at least one of the available gift receivers is selected as a gift receiver while taking the social network properties of the gift receiver; generating and storing gift reservation information including the information regarding the content of the gift and message, gift receiver, and gift reservation date once the gift, message, and the gift reservation date are selected; and executing a gift shipping operation based on the gift reservation information by using the gift application. |
