PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with excellent display quality.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including: a first signal line; a second signal line; a first transparent electrode; a second transparent electrode; a first insulating film provided between the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode; and a metal contacting with the first transparent electrode.
