PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink capable of recording an image having excellent uniformity and to provide an ink cartridge using the aqueous ink and an inkjet recording method.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous ink containing a color material, wherein in the color material, another atomic group and a functional group containing an anionic group such as a carboxylic acid group, a sulfonic acid group, a phosphate group and a phosphonic acid group are bonded to the particle surface of a pigment such as carbon black or an organic pigment and the standard deviation of the functional group introduction amount is 0.0380 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
