PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can form an image according to a change in shape of a recording medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: image formation means for forming an image in a recording medium; end detection means for detecting end positions of a plurality of places on sides of the recording medium to be conveyed; shape detection means for detecting the shape of the recording medium on the basis of a result of the detection by the end detection means; and image correction means for correcting the image formed in the recording medium on the basis of a change in the shape of the recording medium before and after the image formation that is detected by the shape detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
