HEAT SINK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink that can prevent exfoliation between a base portion and a heat radiation unit because of use of different kinds of materials while securing predetermined heat radiation performance and approximation to the thermal expansion coefficient of a cooling target object by using different materials.SOLUTION: A plate-like base portion 2 having a contact face which is brought into contact with a cooling target object, and plural heat radiation portion 3 which are provided to erect from a face on the opposite side of the contact face of the base portion. The base portion and the heat radiation portions are formed of substantially two kinds of materials, and has a gradient composition in which the composition ratio of the two kinds of materials continuously varies in the direction from the contact face of the base portion to the tip of the heat radiation portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
