PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has a high glass transition temperature and is capable of achieving a low dielectric constant and a low dielectric loss tangent.SOLUTION: The resin composition contains: an aldehyde-containing resin obtained by reacting a hydroxyaldehyde monomer having a phenolic hydroxyl group with a crosslinking agent selected from formaldehyde and a compound represented by formula (I); and a diamine. (Each Y is independently a 1-4C alkoxyl group or a halogen atom; Rand Rare each independently H or a 1-4C alkyl group; and s and t are each independently an integer of 1 through 3.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
