The invention relates to a holding and centering device for containers (2). The aim of the invention is to provide an improved holding and centering device which can be used for a plurality of different container types. This is achieved by providing a centering head with a recess (6) for introducing the container and a clamping device (7) arranged on the centering head (3) for clamping the container, wherein the clamping elements (8a, 8c) of the clamping device are mounted in a movable manner in a radial direction between a clamping position, in which the clamping elements are extended into the recess, and a release position, in which the clamping elements are retracted. |
