The present invention proposes a composite infrared detection sensor using an image and an operating method thereof and a security facility integrated management system using the same, which can make a clear determination on whether there is an infiltration attempt and thus can improve the reliability of the infrared detection sensor by synthetically determine whether a shape is detected and whether an infrared ray is detected in image information obtained by photographing a monitoring area when detecting a light-blocking signal by the infrared detection sensor. Further, the present invention enables obtaining of reliable sensing information while reducing the occurrence of unnecessary false alarms. Moreover, the present invention makes it possible to immediately check an error of the infrared detection sensor or sensitivity degradation from a remote location without an on-site inspection.
