An array substrate and liquid crystal display device, the array substrate comprising a substrate (200), and a plurality of scanning lines (209), data lines (210), pixel electrodes (103), primary pixel switches (201), secondary pixel switches (202), discharging switches (203) and discharging capacitors (204) disposed on the substrate (200); each pixel electrode (103) comprises a primary pixel electrode (205) and a secondary pixel electrode (207); each primary pixel switch (201) is correspondingly connected to one scanning line (209), one data line (210) and one primary pixel electrode (205); each secondary pixel switch (202) is correspondingly connected to one scanning line (209), one data line (210) and one secondary pixel electrode (207); each discharging switch (203) is correspondingly connected to one scanning line (209), one secondary pixel electrode (207) and one discharging capacitor (204); and a quantity of electricity discharged from the discharging switch (203) located at the center of the substrate to the secondary pixel electrode (207) connected to the discharging switch (203) is less than a quantity of electricity discharged from the discharging switch (203) located at the edge of the substrate to the secondary pixel electrode (207) connected to the discharging switch (203). The above method enables the brightness of an entire liquid crystal display panel to meet expectations. |
