The present invention, in various embodiments, provides hybrid single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies, disposable single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies, scalable single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies, and adaptable modular single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies. In other embodiments, the present invention relates to a process for recovering proteins from the surface of a filtration membrane inside the single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies, and for cleaning tangential flow filtration assemblies. In additional embodiments, the present invention provides a method for increasing the processing capacity of the single-pass tangential flow filtration assemblies. |
