The method for the production of glass by processing a production aggregate (RT, RS, SR, SW), comprises heating a glass melt (FS) using alternating current by electrodes, which protrude in the glass melt, which consists of 5000 ppm of redox-buffer so that a direct current forms itself in the glass melt with a flow density that exceeds a critical threshold value in the glass melt for a gas bubble formation. An operating frequency of the heating alternating current is adjusted to a minimum frequency for the reduction of gas bubble formation. An operating frequency of the heating alternating current is adjusted to a minimum frequency for the reduction of gas bubble formation by which the self-forming flow density remains below a critical threshold value. The operating frequency of the heating alternating current is adjusted to a minimum frequency of greater than 1000 Hz. The forming flow density remains below a critical threshold value of less than 500 mA/cm 2>. The direct current voltage is applied on the electrode in contact with the glass melt and produces a compensation-direct current in the glass melt. Independent claims are included for: (1) a device for the production of glass with a production aggregate; (2) a monitoring process for preventing gas bubble formation during processing a production aggregate; and (3) a monitoring device for preventing gas bubble formation during processing a production aggregate. |
